data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Community Dental Support Programme is a new service model jointly implemented by the government and non-governmental organizations. Its aim is to supplement the services of the Department of Health\u2019s general dental clinics by increasing service capacity, expanding service locations, and broadening the service scope. The programme provides emergency dental services for designated underprivileged groups who are financially disadvantaged and require general dental clinic services.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f9e874d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f9e874d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Eligibility<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-becf046 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"becf046\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Applicants for the CDSP must meet all the following conditions:<\/p><ol><li>Hold a valid Hong Kong Identity Card or Certificate of Exemption; and<\/li><li>Be a current beneficiary or recipient of any of the following:<ol><li>Old Age Living Allowance (Social Welfare Department);<\/li><li>Community Care Service Voucher Scheme for the Elderly (Level 2 co-payment level);<\/li><li>Integrated Home Care Services (frail cases) \/ Enhanced Home &amp; Community Care Services \/ Home Support Services (Level 1 or Level 2 fee\/co-payment level) under the Social Welfare Department;<\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Patients of the Hospital Authority (HA) who have been granted medical service fee reductions under the Medical Fee Reduction Mechanism (including full and partial reductions)<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Homeless individuals applying to participate in the program are assisted by social workers from designated non-governmental organizations; and<\/span><\/li><\/ol><\/li><li>Be registered with the Electronic Health Record Sharing System (eHealth)<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7191f8c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7191f8c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Application Method<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cd1f89b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cd1f89b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Eligible individuals may directly contact&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/lightgreen-hyena-916555.hostingersite.com\/contact-us\/\"><strong>participating dental clinics<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;or obtain a referral through a registered social worker to access the programme\u2019s subsidised services. Participants are required to pay an administration fee for services received.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5fabf81 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5fabf81\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Scope of Subsidised Services<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-567e377 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"567e377\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Upon assessment by a registered dentist at a participating NGO clinic, and if deemed appropriate, participants may receive the following services  every 180-day period:<br \/><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every 180 days:<\/span><\/p><ul><li>Oral Examination<\/li><li>Medication for dental pain relief (if necessary)<\/li><li>X-ray examination<\/li><li>For fillings or tooth extractions, each tooth is counted as one 'filling or extraction quota' (a maximum of three 'filling or extraction quotas' can be obtained).<\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Removal of dental bridges and crowns (one bridge or two crowns).<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every 365 days:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dental scaling<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Root Canal Treatment (Endodontic (Pulp) Treatment)(one tooth)<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every 5 years or more:<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fitting of Removable Dentures*<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fitting of Removable Dentures*<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">^<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with each occasion at least 5 years apart.)<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0d7d4ea elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0d7d4ea\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Administrative Fee \/ Co-payment<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-12c4c57 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"12c4c57\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The funding model of the support scheme is based on a co-sharing system. In addition to government funding, participants also bear part of the service cost to manage their own health. Fitting both upper and lower removable dentures simultaneously is considered as two dentures.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ee407a4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ee407a4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Dental Services Beyond the Subsidised Scope<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-233b1ad elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"233b1ad\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Dentists may, at their professional discretion, provide dental services beyond the subsidised scope.
